..."There will come need of a day God will break you to get your thoughts as much as your actions. If He hasn't consumed your mind He needs to." I picked up this quote yesterday, and I love it so much. It's true that He needs to consume our minds, as Christians. So many things can consume our minds, school, people, books, music, but rarely God is the center of our thoughts. Do you just think about Him when you have free time? Do you read His word? Or do you watch TV? Read a book? Check your email? Since I read this quote, I've been wanting to read His word, and thinking about Him more. Last night I said to myself, "Hm....I think I'll set my alarm early and get up and read my bible." I'll just be honest. I failed. Miserably. When my alarm went off, I rolled over and went back to sleep. It is hard. I know everybody struggles with this at one time or another, but I feel like I'm going through this right now in this season of my life.

So true Emma..Each day is a battle for our hearts and minds. I too fail miserably as you can attest but we must keep on fighting against all these other things that want us too. It's hard but not too hard for God. I will pray for you and me too that God will give us such a strong desire to know Him more and commune with Him that these other things won't get in our way...yes even the urge to roll over and go back to sleep and you know that our family is not too great in the mornings. I am encouraged by your faith. Love you girly.
