This year, 2013, I want to stop saying tomorrow.
Not literally.
I wouldn't ever try to not say a word just for the sake of it. What I mean is, I want to stop saying "I'll put off doing this thing I want to do and I'll do it tomorrow instead". Whatever you want to do, do it today. Because you never know how many tomorrows you'll get until you run out.
I hate New Year's resolutions.
I hate them.
It's almost as if as soon as you put the words "My New Year's resolution is..." in front and it automatically will fail. So instead, I'm going to write down a few things and ambitions that I want to accomplish this year. Things that I want to work on. Things that I want to do.
things i want to work on
+ get better at organizing
+ love more
+ eat less
+ be patient
+ be sincere
+ be a better example to my younger sisters
+ be honest
+ not be on the computer so much
+ be original
+ stop worrying
+ stop devoting so much time to worthless things
+ don't be so self-conscious in the negative way
+ live every day to the fullest
+ get more exercise
+ write more often
+ pray unceasingly
+ give thanks to God fore everything
+ stop hating little imperfections about myself/appearance
things i want to do
+ read more books (I'm not putting any parameters around this because I just mean in general, not a number)
+ do nothing in half measures
+ do a photo shoot for somebody
+ write a book
+ do NaNoWriMo in November
+ cook and bake more
+ raise money for my trip to Guatemala
+ improve in photography
+ get Lightroom
+ write letters to my dear friends
+ blog more/better
+ buy a typewriter
+ start a quote book (I added this to my list after reading this post because I just love the idea and I love quotes.)
That's all I can think of for now. A few things I want to do and be and get better at, but the list is endless. What do you want to do this year?
Very inspirational! Love the new name too!
