back to school

Driving down the road...

I always thought this was a place where they raised chickens...but maybe I'm wrong...

My old stomping grounds, for the past four years I've gone here probably an average of 3 times a week. (Which is a lot for a homeschooler... ;) )

The frost today was beautiful! :) 

Today was very reminiscent and nostalgic. Seeing my old teachers, my old classmates, and just the place itself. Things have changed though, the walls of the school have changed their color, the principle sadly had to leave us, and some of the teachers have come and gone since I left. (Notice how I still possessively refer to the school as "us" even though I'm no longer a student there! =P)  I miss the familiarity of last year, this year grade 10 has hit me not unlike a bus. I feel like nobody really told me how hard grade 10 is, mostly time management wise, and I bet none of my old classmates had the problem of taking on too many courses in the first term. (YEAH, TOO MANY. Bad. Idea. FYI.) I still feel like this is my school, and my current school is like a new pair of jeans you haven't broken in yet. Still a little tight, you don't feel as comfortable as you do in your old ones...And some days, you still wear the old ones, just because you want to. Well, today I took out my "old jeans" and revisited the happy memories associated with them. =)

(Okay, I feel like that analogy was a little weird, but whatever, you get the idea. ;)
