You gotta be here.

Oh, dear. Today, the weather is so awesome, truly. It's so beautiful here. You may have seen in 2010 when the Olympics were here in Vancouver (about a 45min-1hour drive from my house) and there were commercials all over the television, saying things about BC, and how "You gotta be here."

From the mountains of Whistler........



....to the beaches of White Rock....



...to the farmland of Langley...



This truly is the best place on earth. You gotta be here.

The weather the past three days has been, ah, glorious. Beautiful. My heart craves to be out in the sun, in the cool, crisp, sunny, weather. Last night, the sunset was so stunning, I was speechless. The sun was shining directly on the mountain face on the horizon, turning the snow on the mountain an amazing coral color. It was tremendously beautiful. Indescribable. Truly.

At the same time, on Wednesday, I told my piano teacher that I love the sunny but cold weather, and she replied, "Ah, you're a prairie girl! Like me, well at heart anyways." Ever since then, three days ago, I have been craving to spend a day out under the sun, running through the golden fields....

Wow........oh yes please. Take me there, if only for a day. =)
