Okay, so, first thing. I'm a bit proud of my accomplishment today....I did two french braids in my hair today! I was over reading this wonderful blog called "a beautiful journey" and I thought, man, she always has super pretty, well done hair and I got a bit inspired. Since I cut my hair super short, I haven't been able to do braids. It's probably been about 6-9 months since I've braided my hair and I really wanted to again. I have done little ponytails recently, but not a braid. Voila! This is what I did this morning!
I had no way of seeing what I was doing, so I basically did these braids blindly, and my hair is super short so it's no easy task. Anywho, I'm thinking of growing my hair out...I can always cut it again...
Second thing! We went to the library after I accomplished my first task of the day. :) I got these. So I should be good for a while...
I love reading journal type history books. Lately I've been finding a lot of historical books written in the point of view of a girl's journal or letters that she wrote. If that makes any sense...I really like reading those types and I just got two more from the library! The two middle ones (light pink and turquoise) are the type I just mentioned and I can't wait to start reading them!
Third thing! Hm......let's see. Oh! I think I'm going to start writing a journal. I have no idea why I would be writing this on my blog, because my journal will not be shared on here, but I just feel like I wanted to announce it. I had one for a while, and then I didn't, and then I only wrote in it like once a month, but I'm going to try and keep up with it. I just think it will be so nice when I'm older to look back and read about how I was feeling, struggles, triumphs, and just how life was going. :)

I always, without fail, feel like there was something else I wanted to blog about just before I publish the post, then I always go back to edit something that I knew I had missed. lol =P
